Westchester Feline Club – The Westchester Cat Show
Detail: Hundreds of cats & kittens compete representing many of the 50 recognized T.I.C.A. breeds, and for the first time this year we will have a Pixie-bob competing. Also featuring Household Pet Competition, Shelter Cat Birthday Parties, Face Painting, Holiday Shopping at the Meow Market Place, Ask the Vet & Guest Lectures. Show proceeds to benefit local animal shelters and rescue groups.
Hours: Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm / Saturday & Sunday 2pm Feline Fashion Shows, and Saturday 3pm Cat of the Year Presentation

63rd Annual Westchester County Cheerleading Invitational
Details: Cheerleaders representing High Schools and Middle Schools from Westchester and surrounding counties will vie for top honors at the Westchester County Center.
Hours: Monday: Modified and JV competition-3:50, Awards 4:50 pm, Varsity-6:35pm, Scholarships & Awards-8:15pm Tuesday: JV competition-3:55pm, Awards-4:45pm, Varsity-6:20pm, Scholarships & Awards-7:20pm, Grand Champions-8pm
Cost: $8 for Adults, $5 for Students with school I.D. (one ticket per I.D.), and $5 for Children under 12yrs. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 at the County Center Box Office only.

Mary Lou Seaman Westchester Employee Blood Drive
Details: Westchester County will have a blood drive cosponsored with New York Blood Center. The need for blood is always there. First-time donors and experienced donors are urged to join county employees. This drive will feature opportunities for donations of whole blood and the Alyx/double red cell technology. A picture ID is required and previous donors could use their donor card as ID also. Free juice, coffee, cookies, and tasty snacks will be provided.
